I have been battling Sears to remove an AU account from my husband's reports for the last few months. I pfb'ed them a couple weeks ago and had an interesting email exchange from a woman there (her emails contained so much bs that it was comical). The email exchange resulted in her "turning the account over to her manager". Today, I received a letter stating that they would delete the AU account from his reports. It does not say how soon this should happen. Any idea on when I can expect they will get around to doing that?
    Thanks,

I would guess 30-0 days. They only report to the CRA once a month. If it is an error, they are supposed to fix asap. of course they don't just track how long it takes. keep emailing and bugging them. they will just do it to see if u go away!!

At least you got an answer. I have been sending letters, Planet Feedbacks, disputes etc. for more than 8 months now and I have heard absolutely nothing from them. This is for a paid in full charge-off from 1996 which they report as charge-off/settled for less than the full balance.

Wow, Mark, that really stinks. I got an email within 1 hour after I used pfb with them. I am not holding my breath waiting for a deletion, though. Somehow I don't think it is going to be the end of this!

I really don't understand either. I must have sent at least 15 letters total (mail, certified mail, Planet Feedback) to many addresses and at least 5 disputes (through Equifax, Experian and Transunion). I am not sure if I have anymore options.

    Mark,
Have you tried a nutcase letter yet? If not, that would seem to be your next move.
