kevin, It sounds like denial to me and it had happened to me a couple of times already. Sometimes it may surprise you that you will get card from the mail. Who knows? I have both HHonors Signature Visa and Netscape Card with Citibank USA and the customer serivice is not as good as Citibank (South Dakota) (issue Platinum Select Cards). I don't have any problems with Citibank USA and in my own opinion they're alright. Ron.

I appreciate it but yeah it sure sounds like a denial to me but then they must just say that just to be discreet... but either way is already applied for... so either approved or denied I will have to take it... but the bmw sure sounds like an approval cause the rep actually told me it looks really good... yeah I notice about citibank usa customer service already they are not as nice as let say bank of america or chase... kevin, Sorry about that. That was happened to me a couple of times and they told me I got something from the mail. Citibank USA shouldn't be that tough to approve and they approved me for 2 credit cards last two years. Netscape Card got converted from Platinum Card (pre-approval) and HHonors Visa signature (apply on-line). You will get it 100% unlike me and Chase denied me because of lame excuse). Ron.

kevin, No denial letter and it is good news. Usually they take longer to process your application, you had better chance to get the card. I hope that it will cheer you up. Citibank USA is not as stuff as Chase. I remember that they take about two weeks to process my application. Ron.
Hello Ron, Thank You once again for cheering me up.... yeah I think you are right the longer it takes for them to process the app usually is good news.... if they process it really fast it might not be good news... depends on the bank... Chase is really tuff to get... they denied me at first because of the address not matching with the credit report... they request proof of address faxed over to them... I send them a electric bill they denied it did'nt like the way it look so then I had to faxed them something else so I send them a cable bill and finally after two weeks of waiting it was approved... don't give up Ron on Chase... you will get it in time.... kevin, Everytime they asked for utility bill,prove of address and you have better chance to get the card. This afternoon I called to ask for limit increase for my Netscape Card and they haven't increased the limit for over 2 years. I hope that they didn't pull hard inquiry on my credit report. I keep trying to get from Chase and I like Chase i-Card and Stockback Visa. Good luck on both your application and you probably get both of them. I'm thinking to get Fleet Titanium Card with Rewards because I will get merchandise Rewards like Diamond Preferred Rewards Card. Ron.
Hello Ron, Yes try again on Chase.. and go for the Fleet Titanium Card.. it seems to me if you have good relationship with Fleet you can get cards from them... I have 2 with Fleet so far... yeah I hope I will have good news to tell you soon... I know that bmw called me on wed to verify some info with me and the rep told me it looks really good... should have a decision either on wed or yesterday so I will just be patient and wait on that one... travelocity I got no calls or denial letter yet... so hopefully that is good news too... crossing my fingers.... will let you know as soon as I get something in the mail either a denied letter or the card Thx, Kev

Hello Ron, Guess what Juniper raise my apr to prime + 16.74% which is 20.99% for no reason at all... I guess they hate me as well.... this is even higher apr than my sears gold mc at 17.40% anyways got the Nordstrom Platinum Visa Card in the mail today is very cool looking card... kind of light gray with a little white and I still did not received neither denied letters or cards in the mail yet well I guess that might be good news.... anyways I will keep you posted okay.. have a good Memorial Day Weekend! kevin, Thanks. Having a good memorial day. I got good news and bad news. I got denial letter from Chase (Chase i-Card) and the good news ( received Nordstrom Platinum Visa). Juniper Closed my Visa with $650 CL after they pulled soft inquiry from Experian. I sugguest that you closed the account as soon as possible. Ron,
Citibank USA is a good card they don't seem to blacklist former BK'ers as long as your TU is clean. I was denied by Chase even with fairly clean TU so perhaps they used internal records.
catleg, I was denied Chase not because the length of account established too short and high revolving balances. I don't have any previous Chase Card in the past and they couldn't denied becuase of internal records. Ron.
