In trying to trade down our truck (upside down) for something more economical, we relented and let GMAC pull our reports.

He is going to fax all three scores for both of us (I'll update completely at that time), but said that they go off EQ and mine was 661. WOW!!! So out of curiousity I pulled it up today. It says 641 and is only showing one account in dispute (there should be 2).

The CA for the atty is still showing twice which is fine for now. I should be getting the green card back any day and I'll dispute it then.

The FICO Simulator suggests that if I pay my CCs at they same rate I have been, next month my score could be 651-681 and if I pay them down completely my score could raise to between 671-711.

Do you think the simulator is realistic?

Is it possible that I could see 700 on my worst report before summer's over?

I was wrong... when looking at another page of the report, it does say consumer disputes - reinvestigation in progress on both CA/atty accounts. Interesting, I haven't disputed them lately, but DH mentioned that it was a duplicate in passing on the phone when removing old addys a few days ago.

That would explain the inflated score.
