I wrote a few weeks ago about my zales account going 60 days late. Honest miscommunication/misunderstanding between the sales person and I caused my account to go 60 days late. Until then I did not have a late for more then 2-3 years.

I wrote goodwill letters and I recived generic letters from both zales and citibank stating that they are reporting it correctly so the late will stay on. After writing again with the same answer, I decided to go further.

I got the Zales corporate office and spoke with the director of customer service. He was super nice, listened to my side of the story and said that he will call citibank's credit department and explain to them that he recommends a change, but that he cant promise anything.

The same night I received a call from Citibank, the lady was again super nice, and she removed all late fees and removed the 60 day lates. Needless to say, that was a good day!!!.

It would have taken me weeks if not months with letters back and forth. Sometimes it really helps if you speak with someone in person. Good luck
