Macy's card upgrade Has anyone had their Macy's card upgraded (for example, from the regular Preferred to the Premier) - I'd be interested to hear your experience. Did the upgrade create a new tradeline on your credit report, or did it also contain the history of the old card? Thanks. Saar
Re: Macy's card upgrade Saar - store accounts (reg & premier) are the same number. When they upgrade to Visa, the Visa line shows as a new tradeline (the store account remains). Even though you have 1 card and you think you have 1 account - you still get 2 statements. They translate the Visa # to your store account # automatically. ALso - if you use Club accounts, those report as additional tradelines. mj
