urgent help asap

    today a wage assignment arrived in the mail to my employer, i have been reading online that i can revoke this at any time does anybody know if this is true?

    A wage garnishment is based on a court-ordered judgment. I know of no way to "revoke" a garnishment unless you go back and have the original judgment vacated. Once a garnishment order is issued, your employer is required, by law, to withhold the money and submit it in accordance with the order.

    this is not meant as a joke, but i THINK if u quit the garnishment won't work

    Yes, as soon as you pay the judgment, the wage garnishment will be revoked
