I had a collection account from Exterra that was never validated and as a result removed.

I thought all was well and...BAM!!! They transferred it to Palisade Collections. Is this not continued collection activity? If so, what is the next step?

    Please help...

Start the validation process all over again.

Can you give us the SOL and any other particulars?

Palisades have been talked about extensively on the board for the past few months. I would do a search :)

Do a search here for "palisades." There are many threads on this. I just had success with them using the letters! Good luck!

The original account was from Chase, but I am certain it is not mine. I've had only one account through Chase and it is current and in good standing.

If it was mine, so DoLA is reported as 1/1998...so I would be fine with the SOL.

I sent a OC validation letter to Chase and am awaiting proof of the account. So far, nothing and it'll be 30 days next week. (I know OC's aren't under the 30 day rule)

I will sent this CA copies of the valiation letters that I sent to both the OC, and the previous CA.

Can I threaten suit against OC and previous CA now?
