Just logged online and noticed that US Bank has upped my credit line from 5k to 6.5k. I opened my acount in Nov/2003. Usage was sparse as there is no rewards with this card. I did do a BT (zero for 6 months with BT fees) but paid 80% off on the very next billing cycle. I may convert this card to a cash back but have yet to find any comments about this here on this forum. I don't think a hard inq was pulled. Best regards, Mirage
Congrats!! It's seems more personal when a bank gives you an increase without having to ask. Makes it seem more like they appreciate your business.
Re: Re: US Bank CLI Yup, I just checked on my secondest oldest TL (Providian) and they just increased my CL by another 1k, so I'm sitting on a little under 10k cl from them. (I've been charging one tank of gas every month) Unreal, when you don't carry a balance with Providian as I have received about 2.5k CLIs in the last 6 months. Of course my oldest TL (Cap 1) has not seen an CLI closing on three years and my third oldest (Target Visa) has not seen one in 2 years. Best regards, Mirage
I got an auto increase at 6 months with them as well. Call retention and with a little work you can get 5.99% APR
We have the Harley card through US Bank - that has an 11.99% APR - anyone have any success getting that APR reduced or CLI increases for that card? Our cl is $10k and we've had the card for 19 months. Ozzy.
