OKAY. I"M KINDA WEAK WILLED IN SOME AREAS okay - in most areas WHATEVER! Anyhoo - I only had one lone inquiry on TU from Cap One biz card, and my TU Fico was 760 - sooooo I figured I'd take it out for a test drive. Went for Dogman's Personal Line of Credit from US Bank (they check TU). Asked for 25K - got 15K (they claimed over 15K they needed paystubs - was gonna tell them that Dogman got 25K without paystubs - but graciously kept me mouth shut). The good part? Any cash advance (from line into USBank checking acct) over 2.5K gets prime plus 1%. Under 2.5K gets prime plus 2%. Just in case all those bt offers dry up - it's nice to have a relatively low interest cash source.

Congratulations to you!! That's an impressive credit line, even at 15K. It was wise of you not to argue with the rep. Dogman's case was most likely an exception. For some reason, more emotional than logical, customer reps will do things for dogs that they won't do for people like you and me.

Thanx Dog Ok - now i understand i didn't want to do the paystub thing - because I'm an employee in a small corporation that I co-own - so my paystub is not my only income - and I don't like the the idea of sending my tax returns to anyone who asks for it.

Looks like USBank's loc is not very well known - at least in Los Angeles - as the branch clerks themselves weren't sure how it works.
