I received my checks and LOC card, pretty quick After I was instantly approved for LOC I decided to try for the platinum card since my score finally hit above 700. I got instantly denied and it stated b/c of something on application?? I got the letter yesterday, they didn't pull another inquiry, they denied my platinum card due to the area I lived in wasn't in their trade area?? I find it strange that I can get a LOC but not a credit card??
You can than the Community Reinvestment Act. When I bought my first house, a banker looked at a road map of the county, pinpointed the house I was buying and said "tehre's a bank closer to that property than us, so we can't make this loan". My credit was spotless and I had 20% cash down.
