    Sounds like they may be a bit easier than MBNA.

    Unless you are a certain Democratic congressman with horrible credit who is about to push a bankruptcy bill MBNA desperately wants passed.

    Then MBNA will loan you almost half a million dollars at below market interest rates to consolidate your debts.

    Update: I applied today, deciding to risk the inquiry. Turned out to be a waste of time:

    Credit Limit: $5000.00
    Variable Rate: Prime + 5.95%
    Current APR:* 10.70%


    That's the minimum level, at one of the maximum rates, on a day where my Equifax Fico (which they seem to be pulling) is 750.

    I wonder if it's that citibank near-maxed line that's scaring them? In any case, I promptly delined it. I'll update the thread with which CRA they pulled.

    Yes it does feel good, I actually closed 2 accounts today and that felt good too:)
