Does anyone know if they are entirely score driven, and do they offer instant approval?

I *think* they offer instant approval, but when I applied, I didn't...the card did show up about 10 days later, though.
They pulled Equifax for me. :-b

They pulled TU for me (MO). I applied online, and was instantly approved (I have a checking account with them). The paperwork came, then a week later the card. It had no activation sticker or number to call. I also do not have a pin, which I thought was interesting. I've never used the card in the month I've had it. It only reports to TU (today was the first day that it was on my report).

Hey Shadow, I live in MO too (Stl), I was wondering if you could tell me about your TU at the time? Like what score and how many if any derogs?

Just wondering cause I have used them for my banking since the old mercantile days.

TU was my best score, FAKO was around 660. I have only one derog--a store card that with a 60 and a 90 day late that was closed by the grantor six-and-a-half years ago. I had close to 15 inquries at the time, but I made all of my applications on the same day, so that one wouldn't count against the other. I got a Commerce card at the same time. 3,000 CL for each. I've had checking accounts at both for over a year each.

Also, I refinanced my auto at West Community Credit Union. They only pull TU. The girl I spoke with said that Master Card has a cut off of 639 (meaning they would automatically decline anything under that score--at the CU at least). They didn't give me as high of a CL, however.
