I just wrote a little and told them so.So everyone who hate this 200 to 400 limits she write and let them know. My mom who has no income got card for 7,500 with cap one new to the credit card world. but for some reason me a credit user for 15 plus yrs keep getting 300 to 400. I am mad about that. Write ,call email tell them raise it up some.

Personally, I think that when Cap One decides on a marketing strategy, we will not get anywhere with them. As individuals, however, it is a different thing - almost everyone has had some success with them via planet feedback.

No matter how much we hate their business model, their subprime lending business is one of the only ones I know of that is working in this economy. I know we all think that we are the exceptions and that we are the subprime people who should have prime limits (and maybe we are). But the category as a whole, the 99.999999% of the subprime market that does not participate on this board, is really proving that credit scoring a good predictor of future credit habits.

Cap 1 limits are ridiculous for those with established history....

My gf sister who has high 700 fico scores and 50000+ income got a capitol one gold card for 300 after applying for the platinum no hassle card..

    what a joke..

I have learned not to apply for anything from capitol one. They just plain don't like me. I am now stuck with 3 cap1 cards with 200 dollar limits on my report. I wish I could get rid of those entries.

    DISPUTE THEM...credit limit wrong...
Maybe they will delete the accounts...

AMEX BLUE is gone (not my idea) from EXPERIAN because I disputed the "CREDIT LIMIT"...

LEO,when your accounts are 6 months old, tell them you want to combine them. Then hit them up for a CL increase.
