Hello, anyone hear of this credit card I believe it was Visa, I feel better if I ask here for advice, I really don`t want to any more mistakes this time.
I just did a search below for "USA Gold". Results came back from earlier this month. Is this the same company?
Read what you got. Does it say Visa or Mastercard? A lot of the time these are only cards for catalogue companies, not really major credit cards. If it doesn't say "visa" it isn't a Visa.
It's a catalogue card. http://www.theusagoldcard.com/dollars/0749/212/index.html?sourceid= ignore the "preapproval for unsecured Visa" - doesn't mean a thing except they're going to send you an application after you buy something from their catalogue. This is misleading advertising, people who cannot get credit cards fall for these. You're better off getting a secured CC with a low limit, work your way up. It can be done! Read about all the successes here.
Breeze is right, get a secured card and work your way up. Don't fall for companies like creditcorp and the like. Just overpriced catalogue companies.

Hey, thanks everyone! what would I do without this board, I woold have made so many many mistakes by now. I do have some credit cards Visa by Sterling Bank, Sears, and Spiegal I really wanted a Master card too but I don`t know.........Its really hard to build up credit again, Oh, the Visa is secured, thank you again.
