Got approved for 10K from USAA. They checked my Equifax (had a fico of 718). Chase - 7K BoA - 12.5K USAA - 10K Back in November before I found CN, the best I could get was a Household $800 CL. Thanks to everyone here!
Do you have to be in the armed forces to get their CC? Can you post a link to their CC application, or did you apply by phone? Thanks
What I learned from CN, was how to dispute one unauthroized collection, and with the knowledge gained here, I had one paid collection that I was able to supress under NY SOL. Then, I got a 2k Chase card, then a BoA platinum that I then combined with a previous BoA gold. Then I went back to Chase and convinced them to reconsider my credit line because of previous erroneous information and they upped me to 7K. Not sure about the military requirements as I am a former Marine and answered as such on their application.
When I called to apply over the phone, I was told that since I was not a member, they would have to send me the application. Once I got the app, they provided a fax number to resubmit or one can mail it back in.
