So I am looking for errors in CRA reporting of my paid collections. Can an old paid electric billbeing reported acct type: "installment" be an error? How is an electric bill an error? Any thoughts?

Type of account, DOLA, Date opened, account number.

I firmly believe utilities and/or collections pertaining to utilities of any kind should not be reported. Utilities are often necessities and not always obtained by choice/want - they are a need.

A utility account is not an "installment" account. Who is reporting it as that, the utility company, or a CA?

It was the utility company that reported that. Which is why I had posted here because I don't understand how that can possibly be. I am trying to find possible law violations for later on before I start sending out my first series of paid collections/paid OC's letters. Any help would be great. Thanks

I actually had one of these before. Got it deleted when I wrote to planetfeedback.com AND sent a letter to the utility company's governing agency along with a BBB complaint.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks! I will have to look up Planet Feedback. I wonder if they would care about a 5 year old paid utility bill, but every little bit helps, right?
