Using paralegal to file Ch. 7 BK?

I have seen ads in the paper for paralegal services that file a chapter 7 bankruptcy for $75.00. I have also seen online websites that offer the software to file your own ch. 7 from home for $129.00. I am in the process of filing and have retained an attorney to file a personal ch. 7. Their fee is $1200.00 plus the $299.00 filing fee for the court. I am on the payment plan and owe another $500.00 before they will file it.

Is it a good idea to use these online BK services or a paralegal service? Or is it best to use an attorney? My case is simple, I don't have any real property or assets. I have a truck that is worth about the same as what I owe on it, there is no equity in it. I have about $18K in unsecured and cc debt.

If I can file this myself cheaper and get the same results, that would be good for me. I appreciate any help you can offer.

Use an attorney. As with everything, you get what you pay for . . .
