    Hi,

Sorry if I ask dammy questions, but I'm new in the this field, and with no credit history. Does the utility bills show up on the credit report or not? I have all of the bills on my name, but I never provide them with my SSN. Phone, cell, gas, electricity, cable ...

    Thanks,
    denny

IF YOU PAY LATE...they will (in most cases)

    YMMV

So it means that only if I pay late, that will lower my credit score? If pay on time - no improvment to score?

    Thanks

YOU GOT IT! Just like they won't report to the CBs unless you're late/default.

Our electric bill is in my DW's name and the account shows on her TU file.

But it's never been late and that's what the TL says.

What the heck is it on there for ?

Haha, because it's in her name is not what I need to hear.

Anything can be reported, and anything could be reported to one or all three CRAs.
