My total utilization is 19%. However one of the reasons that keep coming up in FICO is :

Your current utilization is at 19%. Most consumers have an average balance up to 36% of their credit limit (something alongs those lines).

    Now here's the questions....

Does FICO count TOTAL utilization (which as you can see I am doing pretty good on)

Or Individual as well. I have the following which I think might hurt the score if it counts individual %

    Universal Card:
    Limit: 6200
    Balance: 5000

    Overdraft/LOC from Credit Union:
    Limit: 3000
    Balance: 2800

Which one is FICO talking about???? and if IT IS talking about individual accounts then which one of the two??? Revolving or Overdraft?

    Thanks,

When they talk about the average being 36%, they are refering to total usage. However, I can state from experience that any revolving acct that has a balance of over 30% of the limit, is going to cost you points. If you can get those to accts to less than 50% usage at a minimum, you will see a good point increase.
