I have $300 secured visa from American Pacific... so that's the only new TL POST BK7 (I also have active auto loan from Honda (balance 8500's) My total credit limit is $300 since all my debts were discharged early last year.

    My question is...

Since I always pay off or almost pay off my American Pacific each month... let's say... this month I charged 296.00 and will my credit score affect because it's almost 100% Utilization? or it won't count as long as I pay down alot each month?

    Thanks in advance!

It only matter WHEN they report...

"IF" they report you on the day you are $4.00 short of MAXED...that will be bad...

"IF" you can use ON-LINE PAYMENTS...that helps...make a payment each week...or make the minimum payment the day after the statement closes and MOST or ALL 3-5 days before the DUE DATE.

SOME CARDS REPORT ON THE STATEMENT DATE...so if you could pay IN FULL by the day before the statement date...it would report $0.00

Thanks George...when that happens then I get 100% Utilization, would that help with score?

    TIA!

100% MAXED makes a lower score...

    YMMV

WHAT THAT MEANS TO YOU I HAVE NO IDEA.

I paid off $30,000 in credit cards in one week and LOST BIG TIME ON MY F.I.C.O. SCORE.

I still have not fully recovered.

I owe TONS LESS $$$$$$ AT 700 THAN I DID WITH MY HIGH F.I.C.O. (739)
