   Anyone know the maximum allowable VA loan amount? Also, is it true that you must be four years out of chapter 7 for an FHA loan? Thanks.

   Actually, clean credit for 2 years post bk will qualify you for FHA.

   The best info on VA is in the VA website.... www.va.gov it has a great reference guide that explains everythign from limits to fees.
