I am in the same boat. I actually typed up my motion, took it to the clerks office to file and was told, because it was satisfied I could not ask for it to be vacated. I have some other technicalities I am working on but don't have any good answers.

who told u that? the clerk? you should ask her to file it anyway.. its not her job to tell u what can and cannot be done.. it is the judge's. thats what i would do

Yup, a judgment can be vacated at any time. I'm sure some jurisdictions have rules on it, but in general, u can always file for the judgment to be vacated.

even a satisfied judgement can be vacated..
well at least in los angeles county.

It is more of a time frame for a judgement to be vacated. Most jurisdictions have limits on how long you have to file after a judgement

Court clerks can lose their jobs for giving legal advice.
