I just got copies of the proceedings for a civil judgment that was filed. I want to get this judgment vacated! It says that they tried to serve but no one was home so they sent certified mail to the address. I did not sign for anything, but I don't know if my roommate did. There is a copy of the certified mail receipt but no signatures on it. Can someone help me out and tell me what to do next? Or better yet, could someone w/experience w/these matters take a look to see if there are grounds to vacate?
