I sent valadation to a CA almost a month ago and decided to check my EQ CR today (the debt was showing on my EQ and EX reports). Well dang if that pesky little thing is GONE from my EQ CR. I'm just a little closer to my goal.. I hope the CA decided it's not worth the effort to fight this and I'll have another nice surprise when I pull my EX later.
valIdation worked? Um, you sent validation on what day? do you have a CRRR? If it shows before the date, the item was inserted on your report, thats considered continued collection activity and thats $1000 in your pocket.
valIdation worked? kiyi, if I'm reading it right, they valdiated *AFTER* they had already placed it on eq & ex. so the account was already there, they just had to dispute it off after the CA received the validation letter.
valIdation worked? correct, they removed it AFTER they received my letter. I sent the validation letter CMRRR on August 3, they signed on August 10. CR dated 8/31 shows no debt
