I've sent validation letters to all my old paid and unpaid collections accounts (from 1996-1998). I 've received responses from 1 paid utility collection (with a copy of the print screens of my account from the originial creditor) and 3 unpaid collections with copies of the original contracts and returned checks. Where do I go from here to get these paid and unpaid collections off of my credit reports? For the unpaid ones, I've sent a counter offer to pay (low amounts under $150) but with a deletion from my credit reports but I've received no response. Any suggestions?
