I am down to my last 2 negative issues on my report. I have a Taxmasters debt listed on all 3 reports for $500. THe contact info is wrong. The phone # given on all the reports is a personal residence in Kansas. I sent a VAL letter to the address on the cra's report and it came back. SO how in the world can the cra's say it is verified??? Also I have an alledged medical collection for $102. The Ca listed on report is out of business number is disconnected. Buying a new house soon and need these off. Both are from 1999 and keep coming back verified. Help!!
File a complaint against the CRA with your state AG. Send letter to CRA demanding removal since CAs will not or do not respond, along with a copy of your AG complaint.
Photocopy the envelope that the letter was returned with, UNOPENED... This is the key. Send the copy of the envelope, along with your letter requesting the deletion of the tradeline, since there is no way that they could have verified a tradeline with a company whose address and phone number is invalid.
