Had a collector make abusive initial call,collector sent initial collection letter. all documented, wrote (certified) demanding validation. Collector sent "settlement offer" without validation and within 12 days another collector sends collection letter at an increase of 24% (annualized) of first collection letter. Going to send validation request to 2nd collector. Fun should start shortly. Is Estoppel of silence proper because of NO response from first collector? thanks, RegisP
