I have a very recent charge-off (December) that was sent to CA who subsequently sent me a letter to which I responded with a validation letter within 30 days of receiving thier letter. The 30 days from which they received my validation letter has passed and they have not validated nor have they contacted me further. They have not listed this account with any of the CRA's (in fact, the charge-off is so new that it still is listed on my reports with the original creditor - the original creditor hasn't even listed it as a charge-off). What do I do now? Should I send the estoppel letter? There is nothing for them to delete. Any help?
