I sent validation letters to some CAs back in Aug. And the tradelines magically disappeared from my credit reports. This is the result desired.

Some CRAs did not even let me know they were deleted, I just checked my CRs online.

Do I follow up with 2nd letter/estoppel? Will this get them reinserted? Can the CRA reinsert if they did not notify me of the deletion?

    Thanks in advance.

If they were deleted I don't think you want to mess with them, besides what would you threaten to sue for if they are not on your cr's anymore? No damages.

If something is deleted from your report for any reason other than a dispute you initiated, then they do not need to notify you. If it should happen to reappear, they also would not need to notify you, unless it is something that was deleted as a result of your disputing it.

    LKH,

Thanks for the info. I disputed a paid collection and it was removed from TU. I went Nutcase on them to get it removed from EX.

The CA said they were going to resend notices to the CRAs that it is a paid account.

If TU reinserts without telling me would this be a FCRA violation? And since the CA has given me proper validation per my Nutcase, would this also be a violation for reporting info to the CRAs during the validation period????
