A search about "Section 623 (a) (3)" on the FTC website: http://www.ftc.gov/ will provide those interested in what is required of CAs and CRAs concerning validation/dispute requirements very valuable information. I have sent out several validation-requets letters to CAs and have yet to receive a "complete" validation of a debt and additionally have yet to have a CA send a notice to the CRAs that the debt is being disputed. Because of these violations I have had a number of debts deleted from my credit reports. Keep the faith.
