After recieving a letter from a CA, how fast do I need to send my validation letter? Is it better to send it immediately or ride out most of the 30 days that they give you to respond? THANKS
What are you validating for? As you said in your other thread, the debt is 10 years old. That means it is no longer on your credit report.
Ash- If this IS the same debt from last thread (and I can see why you jumped off THAT hijacked flight), then please give more details. If it's 10 yrs old, it can't legally BE on your report. If it is, I believe procedure is to dispute (w/CRA) as obsolete. It being past the SOL, you're safe doing a C & D to the CA. Complete C & D. No phone, mail, etc.
