    I am ready to send off a validation letter to get the final 2 accounts off hubbies reports so I can start on mine.I really stink at writing letter so wanted some opinions on it before I sent it off....Let me know what you think.....Thanks all.... :)

    Here it is:

    To Whom it may Concern;

    I am writing in regards to a collection account you have reported to Transunion and Equifax. Consider this formal notification that I dispute this account. I am requesting that you send me validation that in fact I have a contractual obligation to pay this alleged debt.May I also remind you that I do not consider a computer printout proper validation because anyone could type into a computer that I owe them money. I am not asking you for verification that you have my name, address or SSN, but to verify that is truely my debt. I have enclosed a questionaire that I am requesting you to complete and return with supporting docuements.
    Your failure to satisfy this request within the time allowed by law will be considered a waiver of any and all claims agianist me for this debt. If proper proof can not be furnished within the time limits, then you must immediately remove the account from my credit reports.

    ***Please also consider this notice that no communication is to be made by your company via telephone to my home or my place of employment. Any further communication MUST be made in writing and sent to the return address indicated in this letter.
    If your office does contact me via telephone it will be considered harrassment and I will have no choice but to seek legal protection.
    I look forward to a speedy resolution in this matter.

    The questiare asks for name of all involved, CA, OC & name & address listed with the account.
    Original amount, original acct#, Date of last Activity, & if they bought or are just assigned the debt.
    I also put a little note on the bottom of the questionaire that says:
    **Please complete and return with a copy of the original contract bearing my signature along with any and all supporting documentation concerning this account promptly.
