Validation Letter without Acct # I recieved a copy of my Equifax report with an account that is absolutely not mine. Today I disputed the account with the CRA, and I am looking into writing a validation letter. All off the sample letters include an account #, and I don't have an account number. All the report has is the first few digits and letters. Again this is not my account and want it removed. Also the account lists N/A as an opening date, how can it not have an opening date. It list N/A under months reviewed. Under comments it says Customer unable to locate consumer, I have lived at the same address for over 15 years and I am only 25. What do I do? I am in the process of cleaning up my credit and don't want this incorrect and inaccurate blemish on my file.
