I have 2 charge offs that I need to get off my reports. Which should I try first? - Validation or Dispute? - Or both simultaneously? Also, if neither works, has anyone ever tried sending a debt settlement check with it written on the check that they must remove negative credit if they accept the payment? Does this hold up in Texas? Any other recommendations?
