Hi, Can you validate a debt with an original creditor? Is there a law saying that they have so much time to respond to your request? Also, does anyone have any sample letters to validate with an OC? I know you can do all this with a Collection Agency, but what about the original creditor?
So they don't have to validate? You can just send a dispute letter and they have to list the account as disputed with the CRA? What is the time period on this before they are in violation?
