We got an offer in the mail today from this company for a pretty good deal on local phone service and long distance. It would for sure be cheaper than what I'm paying Bell South and Att (ld). They do pull credit (TU & Ex) to authorize the switch, with our bk I'm not sure they'd approve. Anyone heard of them or used them? Thanx! Newstdt
Back In 98 when I worked in the Telecom field I heard of VarTec. At that time they were a long distance re-seller that offered 10 cents per minute. Their were a few quirks with their service but nothing bad. I Imagine that they are a re-seller of local phone service now as well (CLEC). You'll get good rates, but the service may not be the best. I had a very bad experience working with a CLEC for local phone service. EdG
I use them for my long distance. They're only 5 cents a minute domestic and I use them for calls to Germany also which only cost 12 cents a minute. They don't charge me any extra but the minutes I use. To use them, I push 10-10-811 Janet
