Re: Story about trans union disputes.. Sam: First, let me warn you that I will be trying some learning experiments as I reply to you, so don't be too surprised at what you see and don't try to read anything into them. I'm just gonna do some playing while I answer your message. OK? I always send my DL and SSN and PROOF OF RESIDENCE with every letter I send to the credit bureaus. I use a special format that puts the blown up copies of both right in the middle of a sheet of paper and the pair take up a whole sheet of paper since it's a 200% blowup with copier contrast set to lightest possible. For the proof of residence I use a special letter made up for me by my attorney in which he states that he has known me for about 4 years and knows that I live at my address and am a client of his I always hope that his letterhead and attorney status acts in the capacity of name dropping and might have some influence on their actions although I have never actually had any proof that it has any effect on them but doing it that way at least means that I don't give them any information about me that I might not want them to have That may be, but does that mean that it re-aged the listing?I don't think so I don't like the online services for the simple reason that they do not provide one with a paper trail that one could take into a court of law if necessary Not too bad for some first time playing around, eh?
