    Hey everyone, I just called my mortgage company and asked them to send me a VOM which show's the payment pattern I guess, reason is my mortgage broker is getting one of these to verifiy my mortgage and he mentioned it so I would also like to see what he is reading.

    My real question is I only have one late payment with this mortgage from 4 years ago when I ended up in the hospital sick and they almost forclosed my home, it should have been more than just one late payment but they where nice to only report one since my family kept calling them telling them I was sick.

    When I asked for the VOM to be mailed they put me on hold and said ok well get that info out in the mail for you, can they come now and add more lates to my credit report? or is it to late to add the lates? I'm getting a 12-24 month VOM, I have never been late since then.

    I'm a bit scared they know i'm selling and buying hope they don't add the lates to prevent me from buying my new home and do damage to my credit report. I have never had any problems with this company.

    Or is this a diffrent department from the credit reporting department that has nothing to do with what they report?

    Thanks =)

    Don't be scared. They get these requests all the time. They have no reason to try to mess up your home purchase.

    I thought they only reported 24 months at one time...4 YEARS AGO WON'T SHOW ON A CREDIT REPORT...

    If they ask for a COMPLETE HISTORY (by US MAIL) from day one...IT MAY BE A PROBLEM...
