I have a paid judgement on my cr that keeps getting verified by cra's as correct. I have certified copy of court file. The cra's report it as verified with no change...... I have sent in a request for procedure used to verify and basically have gotten nothing. I want to sue based on violations of the FCRA..... am I obligated to provide them with my copies showing that they are reporting incorrectly.....This is bringing my scores down so much it is worth it to me to try.... advice anyone?

Diva is it just reporting as a judgment and not showing as paid at all? I just want to clear that up before I can better answer you. How are you anyway? Happy holidays and happy New Year to you and yours.

The judgement is not showing paid at all. it was paid in full one month after it was filed. it is only a couple of years old. They sent me a generic letter but gave me no information on who they contacted... no phone number or address of furnisher of information. I would think that this is the violation,

    lbbrown,

this is a judgement, not a ca. I paid it because I had no other choice, they had sent me a garnishment notice. So...... can you answer the question? Do I have a possible lawsuit against CRA for failing to respond to my request to verify procedures used to verify that this debt is reporting correctly...
