I have an account that is being verified by the CRA'S but the OC hasn't updated the account on the reports since 2000. If they verify does it update as well? Seems liek it should. If not isn't this proof that the CRA is not verifying?
They are listing it as last reported n 2/2002. Account transfered. (transferred with in the same company)

No. When a CRA verifies an account they may just say "verif'd 07/2002". Think of it this way. When the CRA sends a request from the CRA's computer to the OC's computer, that is a verification. When the OC sends a monthly update to a CRA's computer, that is a change in the date updated. Is this an open account?
Nope. Its a student loan that has been consolidated and paid in full. Which means it should be marked paid in full shouldnt it? Shouldn't be marked transferred.
Yes it should be listed as paid as agreed. Did you get any paperwork from the OC saying the account is paid? In this case you want to get the OC to report to the CRA's because if you dispute with the CRA's directly they may just delete the account. Ideally you want this account listed as a positive, especially if you have no other installment activity.
