I submitted an online dispute through experian, which has cleaned up quite a bit of my problems. Some which were wrong, some have never responded, some got straightened out or deleted, etc. However, one of my accounts from 1997 went into late status in 1998 when i became pregnant and unemployed. It got paid off but now it wont go away. not until 2005 (last report and paid off in 1999). Do i need to submit another online dispute hoping that it doesnt get verified or write the creditor directly? If so, which letter would work best in this situation? Thanks. Rain...
Start with the FAQ's as this is in there. If it's a paid collection - goodwill and if no luck nutcase.
