On all three of my CRs there is an account showing 1 time 30 days late. Funny, I don't remember being late. I have disputed with CRAs and it comes back verified. So I would like to go after the OC, but what is the best approach. I thought about the "goodwill" approach but I don't want to admit to something that I have not done. Is there a letter to send to the OC to validate(prove) the lates?

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Gonzo

Sometimes it helps us to know who the creditor is. With any luck, someone might even have a secret contact :)

The Creditor is "Belks" or "Belk". Department store credit card.

Send them a goodwill letter (nicey, nice), stating that according to your records you have never made a late payment. Ask them to please report to CRA's "never late" because you are such a loyal and valued customer who always pays bills on time.
