As you can see by all of my posts today, I devoted the entire day to credit cleanup. I did manage to get some work done in between. Anyway, my question is this: I just got my husbands EXP report it says: Lien previously investigated Please be more specific how the lien is "inaccurate and incomplete" (exampleaid in full) The lien has been paid and has been released. This is the second time that they have refused to investigate and it still isn't being reported correctly. Isn't it their job to figure out what the problem with the reporting is? I'm not being sarcastic, I just want to know if we are supposed to spell out to them exactly what is wrong. Any and all help is appreciated. Bobbi
If you just want it updated to reflect the fact that it is released: 1. Ask the lender for a copy of the filed release and submit that to the CRAs; or 2. Liens are public record. Purchase a copy from the county and/or state where filed and submit that to the CRAs as proof of release.
