Final phone bill missed me in the mail. Went to collection. CR shows OSI Collection Inc. Tried to work with Verizon. They said no and connected me to AMO. WTH? How can it be AMO (who told me they don't report to CRAs) based in GA with a return address of WA when it shows OSI (in WI) on my CR? I disputed 'not mine' with CRAs for now and will send validation request next. Other than that, I'm not sure if what they are doing is legal. Any thoughts?
POSSIBLY ANOTHER GULFSTATE/OSI ALIAS. WAIT FOR YOUR DISPUTE RESULTS TO COME BACK. ALSO, ASK THE CRA FOR THE COMPANY NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE # AND CONTACT NAME FROM THE COMPANY THEY VERIFIED WITH (IF IT COMES BACK VERIFIED).
