   Four years ago verizon canceled my land line for non-payment.
   
   I never paid them.
   
   The debt does NOT appear on my credit reports.
   
   How should I procede?
   
   Ignore it?
   Somehow get in touch with Verizon and see if I can pay it?
   
   I'm wondering if it's going to come back and haunt me someday.
   
   Any thoughts?

   I would first check to see if the debt is within SOL in your state. If not, I would donate the money I owe to a worthy cause.
