    I dont get it...

Buy doing what the letter has asked...by telling them what is exactly wrong, wouldnt that admit it was yours? How can you tell them "well, I think the amount is wrong or I think xxx is wrong. How can you tell them what is wrong with the information and request it to be corrected if the debt isnt yours? Sounds like a trap. How are you supposed to know what would be wrong if IT ISNT EVEN YOURS OR HAS BEEN PROVEN TO YOU THAT IT IS YOURS?

Mr. Tac, are you for hire??????

Would love to see some sample petitions, etc. Getting ready to sue a cra and oc separately for reporting false information and refusing to correct it.

That is what I would think. How would you know the amount is wrong if it wasn't yours to begin with?
Those who dispute with credit bureaus seldom if ever stop to think about things like that. It seems to me that all they think about is that it seems easy and is nearly free.
No, I have to disagree with you. I don't think it is a trap at all. I think it is an insult to human intelligence or worse.

    Hey Bill,

Picking apart a letter can really lead to several interpretations. I just recevied a "form letter" in reponse to a complaint/demand I filed with a cra. Total nonsense. But I laugh BECAUSE...in my demand letter, I requested a response within XXX number of days. Well, they responded, alright, with a buncha mumbo jumbo policies and other stuff...which TOTALLY evaded the whole reason of my complaint. YET, they responded within xxx number of days, just like I had asked. Whata chump I am, lol.

I DO beleive it is a trap, as well as a total insult. It is a set up (like when a guy gets pulled over for swerving and asked to do a field sobriety consisting of some ludicrous balancing act...and the guy says 'I cant even do this when I havent been drinking..')

It is a way to lure the average person into self incrimination. I am sure the ca percieves this whole deal as a big tee-teeing contest, has a type A personality, and enjoys in seeing people fall for these types of self-admission tricks.

It is almost worth responding with s "what the HELL are you talking about? I requested validation and you come back with THIS? Um...please forward this letter to your super..." Make it seem like he wasted time and got papercuts from looking in his thesaurus and researching codes all for nothing.

There is a recommended exercise one should always follow immediately upon sending a letter to a credit bureau.

He must first of all think of the three following islands. Owa, Tagu, Siam.

His next move is to stand in front of a full length mirror and hold his arms outstretched then while repeating the names of the 3 islands in rapid succession he should beging flapping his arms up and down in rapid succession.

Well the issue is this, I am coming from the ignorance perspective. If the debt is not mine, I need details. I am not playing with this bozo. I find that most CEO and executives have a lot of time on their hands. What I am going to do is package all of his nice little letters and copies of my original demand for validation along with the crrr and send them off to the California Attorney General, by and by they do have an online complaint mechanism, but. I may have to complain both ways. See if they can get some fuel with the situation.

BBauer is right, send these jerkoffs long letters is a waste of time.

    Future Validation Letter:

    Dear Scum of the Earth:

Good day, Proove that this liability is mine. You know the law(one would hope) so do I. Don't send a print out or something that you have put together using your Microsoft Publisher. My memory needs refreshing.

If you don't send this proof, I expect to see this off of my credit report.

    Burn in hell,

    EXACTLY!

That's why the val letter in the sample library is the val letter from hell.

    lol

Also add. Don't send me any of your stupid form letters asking questions. If the damn thing ain't mine how'm I supposed to have answers.
