I just wanted to drop a note to thank the DOC and everyone else for their awesome help. I was one of those stupid college kids who abused some credit and reaped the negative rewards. I paid off all the accounts that went to collection and have been paying responsibly for about 3 years now. Then I saw all of this Validation hoo hah and decided to give it a try! I was hoping and praying that they would not validate the paid collections. Then as luck whould have it, the OC's actually DELETED the accounts. And this was just off of a Polite Letter. Now, the CA's dont have a leg to stand on and I owe it all to the info on this site! Thanks a TON!
