National financial keeps leaving very detailed messages on my voice mail about what they are doing with my husband's account. Is this a violation? Some of them are quite sarcastic and humiliating.
Save that voice mail and let your lawyer listen. Also, have you actually filed bk yet? If so, this pond scum is violating a Federal Court order. A bk comes with an automatic restraining order preventing a creditor from contacting you until the bk is resolved. Let your lawyer start to earn his keep. Call him Monday and have him contact the CA and tell them any further communication goes through his office. Good luck!
actually we told him to file tuesday so we could get the money out of our checking account. He said they would try to confiscate it (those whom we owe money to). I'm definitely going to keep a recording.
