Hello, As I saw many ads showing some merchants` acceptance of Visa Electron I would like to ask you, dear board members, whether it is very common in the US that Visa Electron is enabled in the remote environment (Internet, MOTO). I know it is up to an issuer if he lets its customers to use the cards via the net. In my countryside (Poland) no bank enables given above usage, so I am especially curious as it looks like in the US. Thanx Sebak
RE: Visa Electron and the Inte Sabak - nice to meet you. I build internet in CA - San Francisco. Close estimates of statistics: CA only: 70% of the population can get internet access 45% of homes have PCs 85% have Visa/Mastercard/Amex Most banks in the US do not restrict internet shopping. I believe - of those homes that have both a Visa, Mastercard, or American express, and a PC, 80% made purchases with the Visa on the internet. Hope this helps - its always nice seeing differences in other countries and cultures Dogman
RE: Visa Electron and the Inte Actually my question concerned only Visa Electron cards as Debit Cards given to everyone who opens a new account thus has no credibility or as you call it "good credit" and so on. So if it is possible to get those stats... Sebak
