It now looks like I am going to be flying more than I thought I would and I am beginning to think that the AAdvantage card would be a pretty good way to go for me after all. With the amount I would be flying I think the benefits would more than make up for paying an annual fee. So I went onto Citi's site tonight to look at the AA cards and I see they offer both Visa Signature and World MasterCard. I have a few questions for anyone who can answer. I understand the bit about the no pre-set limit, so no one has to go into that. 1. Will Citi convert a MasterCard account to a Visa account in the first place? 2. Which do you feel has more benefits? The Visa Signature or the World MasterCard? The one difference that is most interesting right away is the airport parking benefit of the Visa Signature. 3. I gave up my bonus miles for opening the AA Gold account when I converted. Do you think if I converted back they'd give me the bonus miles back? Anything else anyone can think of would be appreciated.
